Many of the elective foot and ankle surgeries performed by Dr. Campitelli can be done as an outpatient where you are home the same day. Depending on the procedure, you may or may not be able walk within 24 hours after surgery.
Achilles tendon ruptures are known for their long recovery times, which in the past have been known to require five to nine months of rehabilitation on average.
